RENO, Nev. (AP) - Josh Adams scored 18 points and dished out six assists to help lead Wyoming to a 64-58 come-from-behind win Tuesday night over Nevada.
Wyoming scored just 13 points in the first half and trailed by 14 entering the break. The Cowboys (21-6, 10-4 Mountain West) fought back in the second half, however, ripping off a 12-2 run with 5:28 to play highlighted by a Jason McManamen 3-pointer which gave them the lead for good.
Nevada cut the deficit back to two on several occasions, but a pair of free throws by Adams and two more by Riley Grabau sealed it.
The 14 point halftime deficit was Wyoming's largest to overcome this season, as well as Nevada's largest blown lead.
Nevada's AJ West tied a career-best with 18 points and added a career-high 19 boards to lead the Wolf Pack (8-17, 4-9).

Nevada is 8-17 overall and 4-9 in Mountain West play after falling 64-58 to Wyoming (21-6, 10-4 MW) tonight.
The Wolf Pack plays at Boise State on Saturday at 12 p.m. PT.
Head coach David Carter announced after the game that senior forward Ronnie Stevens, Jr. would miss the rest of the season with a leg injury. Stevens had missed the last two games.
Wyoming leads the series 13-2 and won both games this year.
Nevada held Wyoming to a season low 13 first half points but the Cowboy scored a season-high 51 in the second half.
All nine players that saw action scored.
Nevada won the rebounding battle for the 16th time this season and 10th time by double figures.
Juniors Marqueze Coleman and Tyron Criswell both fouled out for the first time this season.
Junior forward AJ West tied his career-high with 18 points and set a career-high with 19 rebounds. The 19 rebounds is tied for the high by a player in the MW this season.
West has scored in double figures in the last 15 games.
West posted his 12th double-double of the season, ninth in 13 MW games and 14th of his career.
West made all six field goals and all six free throws tonight.
West grabbed a career-high 14 defensive rebounds.
West blocked three shots and has a block in every game but one this season. In 15 games he has blocked two or more shots.
In 18 of 24 games West has either posted a game high in rebounds or tied for the honor.
West had five offensive rebounds and moved into second place on the Mountain West single season all games list.
Head coach David Carter is now 97-92 in his sixth season at Nevada and 17-30 in his third season of MW play.
