PARK CITY, Utah – The second of four days of racing at the Utah Olympic Park finished out strong as
Iver Walday Naess posted a sixth-place finish in the men's slalom, marking the highest Pack finish in both the men's and women's races to highlight Thursday afternoon.

Walday Naess recorded the second-fastest second run in the field (42.30) to jump up from within the top-25 to finish sixth place overall (1:30.14). All the Pack men improved their places from the first run, solidifying finishes all within the top-40 to wrap the second day.
Engebret Halbjorhus was the next highest Nevada finisher, shaving off nearly two seconds in the second run to place 25
th. Following closely behind two spots later was
Jules Baur in 27
th (1:34.61),
Ulrik Danielsen in 32
nd (1:36.11) and
Ryan Herhusky in 39
th (1:37.77).

The Pack women also climbed up in the ranks after their second run, each improving their second runs by four seconds or more.
Jessica Blackburn placed the highest, coming in at 33
rd and clocking a second run in 50.06, Six spots below was
Georgie Sullivan, performing six seconds faster than her first run to finish 39
th, followed by
Elle Murphy in 43
rd.

With the slalom events wrapped, the Pack will continue the next two days in Utah Olympic Park competing in giant slalom.
