STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Elle Murphy and
Iver Walday Naess secured the highest finishes for the Pack in their respective slalom races to wrap the final day of the Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational, hosted by Colorado in Steamboat Springs.

As the solo representative on the women's side,
Elle Murphy came away from the slalom runs with a 36
th place finish (1:44.92).

Walday Naess came away with the highest ranked finish for a second day in a row. After sitting in 11
th after the first run, his 22
nd ranked second run allowed him to keep his place and finish 11
th overall with a combined time of 1:22.56. Not far behind,
Jeger Halbjorhus secured a 14
th place finish after climbing up 10 spots in the rankings in part of his run two time of 38.16, the second-fastest ranked run in the field. Halbjorhus came away with a combined time of 1:22.78.
Andreas Unhjem Smith (1:23.38) saw the last top-20 finish for the Pack in 18
th (1:23.38). Just outside was
Ryan Herhusky (22
nd) and
Jules Baur (25
th).

Nevada will travel south to continue competition early next week for the Denver University Invitational Feb. 5-6.
