STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada's Iver Walday Naess shined on the second and final day of the NCAA Championships, finishing with a 24^th place finish in the evening slalom event, wrapping his week in Steamboat Springs with 10 total points and a T-18^th team finish for the Wolf Pack.
 
In the first run, Walday Naess recorded a time of 44.63 to sit in 31^st. Coming back two hours later for the second run, he shaved four seconds off (40.58) from the first run, giving him the edge to earn the fastest second run in the field, bringing him to finish the event with a combined time of 1:25.21, scoring seven points.
 
Colorado's Filip Wahlqvist would take the crown with a combined time of 1:19.38, scoring 40 points for the Buffaloes with his first-place finish.
