RENO, Nev. - Nevada Women's Basketball returns to Lawlor for a two-game homestand, first hosting Air Force on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
The Pack is coming off of a road loss to Fresno State on Saturday, 71-51.Â
After falling into a hole early on, Nevada wasn't able to come back. Neither team shot well from the line, both shooting under 68 percent. The Pack was also outrebounded, grabbing 21 boards to the Bulldogs' 38.
One bright spot for Nevada was forcing Fresno State to turn the ball over 22 times.Â
Skylar Durley led the Pack in scoring and rebounds with 17 points and six boards. Her performance against Fresno State and against Boise State in the previous game earned her the title of Old Trapper Mountain West Freshman of the week for the third time this season.
Air Force enters the game after a win over Grand Canyon, 65-64.
The Falcons shot 38.3 percent from the floor and only 25 percent from beyond the arc. They hauled in 34 rebounds and took the ball away seven times.Â
Starters made up nearly all points for Air Force, as the bench only produced six. Milahnie Perry led the Falcons with 26 points. Jayda McNabb contributed with 14, followed by Keelie O'hollaren with 11. Emily Adams led in rebounds with 10.
In the last meeting between the two teams, Nevada fell on the road, 61-45.
