FRESNO, Calif. - Jayce Dobie broke a 3-3 tie with a bases-clearing double in the fourth, and Nevada finished just its second three-game sweep at Fresno State all-time with Sunday's 9-4 victory.

The Wolf Pack (11-6, 3-0 MW) won its first three games of Mountain West play for the first time since 2015, and the three-game road sweep of the Bulldogs (7-11, 0-3 MW) is the first since 2021. Nevada has also won 11 of 14 since suffering a three-game sweep at Ole Miss on opening weekend.

Nevada loaded the bases with one out in the fourth behind singles from Noah Blythe and Jackson Waller and a walk to Rominic Quiban. That set up Dobie, who got his bat out on a 1-2 offering and sent it down the line and into the left-field corner, clearing the bases.

Dobie finished the game with two doubles and the three RBIs, while Jackson Waller continued his recent run of form, going 4-for-5 with his two RBIs coming on a two-run shot in the second, his second long ball of the weekend. Jacob Doyle posted the Pack's second two-homer game of the weekend, smacking two solo shots with the last capping the Wolf Pack scoring in the ninth.

Jordan Giacomini improved to 3-1 with the win, going five innings and striking out six while allowing three runs. Relievers Luke Schat and Eric Valdez held the Bulldogs to just a run over the final four frames, with Valdez getting his first save after working the final three innings.

Nevada jumped out to a 3-1 lead after the first two innings behind an RBI single from Lee Matsuzaki in the first and Waller's two-run homer in the second. Fresno State got a double from Cam Schneider in the bottom of the third to tie the game at 3-3, but could only manage one more run the rest of the way.

Nevada returns to Reno for a five-game home stand beginning Tuesday at 3:05 p.m. against Fresno Pacific before a three-game Mountain West series beginning Friday night against Air Force.
