RENO, Nev. - The Nevada Men's Golf program and Head Coach Trake Carpenter have announced their full tournament schedule for the 2026-27 season.
"I am excited about the opportunities this schedule presents for our team," said Carpenter. "We have a strong mix of high-level collegiate events, competitive regional tournaments on championship-caliber courses throughout the year. I am excited about this group and am looking forward to seeing how they compete against some of the nation's top programs."
The Nevada Men's Golf team will participate in ten events during the 2026-27 season, beginning with the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational in Boulder and concluding with the Mountain West Championship in Palm Desert, California.
The Pack will open the season by hosting Wolf Pack Golf Day on Sept. 21 at Montreux Golf & Country Club. The annual event serves as Nevada Men's Golf's premier fundraising event and brings together alumni, supporters and community members to support the program.
Nevada's competitive slate begins at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational (Sept. 29-30) in Boulder, Colorado. Hosted by Colorado at Boulder Country Club, the event annually features a strong field of programs from across the West. The Pack will then travel to Stockton, California for the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational (Oct. 12-14), hosted by Pacific at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
The Pack will wrap up the fall campaign at the Saint Mary's Invitational (Oct. 19-21) at Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside, California. Nevada has competed regularly at the event and will look to carry momentum into the spring season.
Nevada opens the spring schedule at The Prestige (Feb. 15-17), one of the premier collegiate events on the West Coast. Hosted at PGA West's Norman Course in La Quinta, California, the tournament traditionally attracts many nationally ranked programs and provides an early test for the Pack.
The team will remain in the desert the following week for the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (Feb. 22-24) at Classic Club in Palm Desert. Nevada will then head to Fresno, California to defend their title at The Watney (Mar. 1-2) at Sunnyside Country Club.
Later in March, the Pack will compete at the Pathway to Progression Collegiate Invitational (Mar. 22-23) at Silverado before traveling to Stanford University for The Goodwin (Mar. 25-27). The Goodwin is annually regarded as one of the strongest regular-season tournaments in collegiate golf and provides another opportunity to compete against elite national competition.
Nevada's final regular-season tournament will be the El Macero Classic (Apr. 9-11), hosted by UC Davis at El Macero Country Club.
The Pack will then set its sights on postseason competition at the Credit Union One Mountain West Men's Golf Championship (Apr. 27-29), held at Classic Club in Palm Desert, California. Nevada will look to compete for a conference title and secure a spot in NCAA Regional competition.
