Ranked fifth in the conference averaging 44.7 yards over 47 punts with only two going for touchbacks, that latter figure tying for second in the Mountain West among qualified punters ... Had eighteen punts downed inside the opponent's 20-yard line, fourth-best in the conference, and had 14 punts of at least 50 yards ... Twice carried on a fake punt, gaining a combined 26 yards and two key first downs ... Averaged 39.5 yards over four punts at No. 2/3 Penn State (Aug. 30) ... Averaged 50.5 yards over six punts, with a long of 62, and rushed for 12 yards and a first down against Middle Tennessee (Sept. 13) ...
