Cole Moore joined the Nevada Football staff as Associate Athletics Director, Football Administration in January 2026. Moore reunites with Jeff Choate, under whom he served at Montana State.
Moore spent 2023-25 on Jonathan Smith's staff at Michigan State serving as the Spartans' general manager. In that role, Moore oversaw all aspects of roster management and recruiting strategies.
Moore served as director of player personnel at Oregon State from 2022-23, after one season as the assistant director of player personnel and co-camp director at Texas. During his time in Austin, he assisted the director of player personnel and the defensive coaching staff while developing recruiting strategies for the Longhorn football program. He assisted the director of player personnel with roster management and official and unofficial visits.
Prior to Texas, Moore spent six years at Montana State. He began his tenure with the Bobcats serving as a football administrative assistant, then was promoted to director of football operations, assistant athletic director for football operations, and ultimately chief of staff. While with the Bobcats, he oversaw all aspects of the football program, which included the budget, roster management, recruiting operations, volunteer programs, compliance and team travel and meals.
Moore began his collegiate career from 2015-16 at Washington as a football recruiting graduate assistant. He assisted in developing recruiting profiles for the team's coaching staff as well as recruiting itineraries.
A native of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, Moore is a 2014 graduate of Montana State with a degree in political science. He also earned his master's in intercollegiate athletic leadership from Washington in 2016.
